The prosthetic helped the former ski racer to carve deep trenches in the rolling groomers of Buttermilk, leaning deep into turns just like she did before that boat changed her life. And it buoyed a big goal for Wise, who hopes to join her brother at the 2018 Winter Olympics as a Paralympic skier.
